Nelsonville Commons: A place for all

The Village of Nelsonville Parks Committee is committed to revitalizing our aging playground. Although the sledding hill still remains a popular destination in the winter, the equipment is outdated, worn, and exclusive to all ages and abilities. The park also currently lacks a gathering space for families and community members to connect with one another, learn from each other, and share moments of joy.

We envision a safe, fun, beautiful, and accessible space where village residents and visitors of all ages and abilities can gather, play, recreate, and engage with each other and their environment to foster social, physical, and community wellness.

The Nelsonville Commons will be a backdrop for conversation and connection. The Nelsonville Commons will be a place for all.
